Rebollar is located on the sunny hillside of the Jerte Valley, more than 600 metres above sea level. From the Paseo del Mirador, planted with ornamental orange trees, visitors can enjoy magnificent views of the Sierra de Tormantos and several villages of the valley such as Piornal, Valdastillas, Cabrero and Casas del Castañar, as well as the San Bernabé oak forest.

The viewpoint is part of the PR-CC 24 hiking route, approximately 10 km long, which starts and ends in Casas del Castañar and ascends towards Rebollar along tracks and trails. It can also be accessed via a forest track that begins next to the Parque El Arroyo picnic area, near Casas del Castañar, covering about 3 km to the Paseo de los Naranjos Viewpoint. This section can be completed either on foot or by car.
It can be visited at any time of the year, although spring and autumn are especially recommended due to mild temperatures and the variety of colors in cherry groves, oak forests, and surrounding mountains. In summer, it offers pleasant sunsets at higher altitude, while in winter visitors should consider cold and windy conditions.

It is recommended to walk at least part of the route to enjoy the oak woodland and the progressive views over the valley, wearing comfortable footwear and appropriate clothing for the altitude. It is a good idea to combine the visit with the full PR-CC 24 route or with other walks around Rebollar and Casas del Castañar.
If accessing by car via the forest track, it is important to drive slowly and carefully, as the surface may be uneven and narrow in some sections. On rainy or foggy days, visibility may be reduced and the terrain can become slippery, so extra caution is required both when walking and driving.
