GR-110 Jerte Valley – Silver Route

Description

The GR-110 Jerte Valley trail is a long-distance hiking route that crosses the valley following the course of the Jerte River. The path connects the town of Cabezuela del Valle with the city of Plasencia and passes through landscapes typical of the region such as cherry orchards, mountain streams, traditional paths and open countryside. Along the route hikers pass through villages including Navaconcejo and El Torno, as well as natural areas along the river. The trail also links with other major hiking routes such as the GR-10 and the GR-100 Silver Route.
