Palace Square is a historic public space located in the center of the village of Piornal. Its name comes from the former palace of Bishop Pedro González de Acevedo, built in the 15th century and used as a summer residence in the mountains. After the building was abandoned, many of its stones were reused by local residents to construct nearby houses, although features such as the episcopal coat of arms and the original doorway remain. Today the square serves as a cultural and social meeting place, hosting local events and celebrations.

The square is located in the urban center of Piornal, in the central area of the village, close to other key landmarks such as Plaza de España and the Church of San Juan Bautista.
