Plaza de las Lanchas is one of the main squares in the historic center of Piornal. Its name comes from the large granite slabs that pave the square. At its center stands a monument commemorating the former traditional wine press that once operated in this location, reflecting the agricultural heritage of the village. The square combines traditional mountain architecture, stone paving and several painted facades that form part of Piornal’s open-air mural project. Today it serves as a lively meeting point and a venue for local cultural events.

The square is located within the urban center of Piornal, in a central area of the village, and can be easily reached on foot from Plaza de España and the parish church by following the internal streets.
