The Cherry Museum is dedicated to the history and culture of cherry cultivation in the Jerte Valley. It is located in a traditional house with popular architecture in the historic center of Cabezuela del Valle. The museum is arranged over three floors that explain the development of cherry growing since the 14th century, the native Jerte picota varieties, traditional terrace farming techniques and the tools used by local farmers. It also explores the production and commercialization of cherries in the region. The top floor houses a small School Museum displaying classroom furniture and educational materials from the 20th century.

The museum is located at 58 Hondón Street, in the heart of the historic center of Cabezuela del Valle, within the Historic-Artistic Complex. It can be reached on foot from the main square and the central streets, while visitors arriving by car should park in designated areas at the entrance to the historic center and continue walking to Hondón Street.
The museum can be visited throughout the year during its regular opening hours, which are usually extended in summer. It is especially interesting to combine the visit with the cherry blossom season in spring or with the harvest period in June, in order to better contextualize the exhibition content.
