Los Lagares Viewpoint is located in the municipality of Barrado and offers pleasant views of the surroundings of the Garganta del Obispo area in the Jerte Valley. The site includes a small rest area and is a nice place to stop for a picnic while enjoying the landscape. It can be accessed by car from the EX-213 road that connects Barrado and Piornal. Shortly after the beginning of the road, a paved track branches off to the right; at the first junction turn left and continue for about 150 metres to reach the viewpoint.

Access is from Barrado by taking the EX-213 road toward Piornal; a few meters after the start of the road, a paved track branches off to the right. At the first junction, turn left and continue for approximately 150 meters until reaching the viewpoint, where there is space to park and access the picnic area and panoramic edge on foot.
The viewpoint can be visited throughout the year, although spring, when the valley is covered in cherry blossoms, and autumn, due to the forest colors, are especially recommended. Summer offers pleasant evenings, while in winter snow-covered peaks can be seen, provided that track conditions allow access.

It is recommended to bring some food and water to make use of the picnic area, as well as light warm clothing even in mild seasons due to altitude and possible wind. Visitors can combine the stop with a walk through Barrado or with other nearby viewpoints such as Mirador de la Cabra or Balcón del Valle.
The access track, although paved, is narrow and may have gravel or damp patches, so it should be driven slowly and with caution, especially when passing other vehicles. On days of heavy rain, fog, or ice, visibility and road grip may be reduced, so it is advisable to assess conditions before heading up to the viewpoint.
