This viewpoint is located next to the Hermitage of San Felipe and Santiago, on a small hill overlooking the village of Cabezuela del Valle and the Jerte River. From here visitors can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the Jerte Valley, stretching from the Puerto de Tornavacas mountain pass to the opening of the valley towards Plasencia, with the Tormantos and Traslasierra mountain ranges framing the landscape. The viewpoint is less than 500 metres from the Town Hall square and can be reached by following Calle San Felipe towards the northeast. It is a short and pleasant walk that complements a visit to the historic centre and the old Jewish quarter of the village. It can also be accessed by car, although the streets are narrow and some are one-way.

From the Town Hall Square of Cabezuela del Valle, it is less than a 500-meter walk along Calle San Felipe heading northeast until reaching the hermitage and the viewpoint, located in the upper part of the village. It can be accessed on foot through a short and comfortable walk along the historic streets or by car, although access roads are narrow and in some sections one-way.
The viewpoint can be visited throughout the year, being especially attractive in spring, when cherry blossoms cover the valley slopes, and in autumn, due to the contrasting colors of forests and crops. Clear days provide the best conditions to enjoy the wide panoramic views.

It is recommended to walk up from the Town Hall Square to enjoy the route through the Jewish quarter and historic streets, and to spend a few minutes taking in the views from the viewpoint. Comfortable footwear is advisable and, during warm periods, sun protection is recommended as the area has limited shade.
If accessing by car, drive carefully through the narrow streets and respect one-way traffic signs and parking areas. On rainy days, the pavement may be slippery, so extra caution is advised when walking around the hermitage and the viewpoint.
