This natural viewpoint in the Jerte Valley offers wide views over the valley and the Sierra de Tormantos mountain range. The site combines landscape observation with a group of sculptures created in 2008 by the artist Francisco Cedenilla Carrasco in memory of the forgotten victims of the Spanish Civil War. The viewpoint also includes a picnic area and an interpretation panel explaining the nearby climbing area known as “El Cerro”. It is located on the road that climbs from the N-110 towards El Torno, about two kilometres before reaching the village.

The viewpoint is located along the CC-51 road that climbs from the N-110 toward El Torno, approximately a couple of kilometers before reaching the village. It is situated next to the road, in a widened area with a parking space, from which visitors can walk a few meters to reach the viewpoint railing, the sculptures, and the picnic area.
It can be visited throughout the year, offering different panoramic views depending on the season, from cherry blossom in spring to ochre tones in autumn. In summer, it is advisable to avoid the central hours of the day due to direct sun exposure, while in winter it is recommended to consider possible fog or frost on the access road.

It is recommended to spend time observing both the landscape and the details of the sculptures, as well as reading the information provided on the interpretive panel. Visitors should bring a light jacket or windbreaker even on mild days and respect the commemorative nature of the site by not climbing on the sculptures or the railing.
The access road is a mountain road with sharp curves, so speed should be moderated and maneuvers carefully signaled when entering or leaving the parking area. In case of rain, snow, or ice, the surface may become slippery and visibility reduced, so extra caution is advised or the visit should be postponed.
