Picnic area located near the entrance to the village of Casas del Castañar from the N-110 road. It is a small and pleasant natural spot where visitors can stop and rest before entering the town. The picnic area is shaded by a large alder tree that provides cool shade for much of the year. The site also includes a fountain and a nearby parking area for easy access.

It is accessed directly from the N-110 road by taking the signposted turn-off towards Casas del Castañar; just before entering the urban area, the picnic area is located beside the road. There is a small parking area next to it, from which the site can be reached on foot within a few metres, under the shade of the alder tree and next to the fountain.
It can be used throughout the year, although it is especially pleasant in spring and summer due to the cool shade provided by the alder tree and the proximity of the stream. In autumn it also offers a शांत and relaxing atmosphere, making it a good stop during routes through the valley’s villages.
