Picnic area located in the municipality of Barrado that also functions as a natural viewpoint overlooking the surroundings of the Garganta del Obispo. From this spot visitors can enjoy wide views of the valley landscape and the nearby mountains. The site provides a pleasant place to stop and have an outdoor picnic while enjoying the scenery. It can be accessed by car from the EX-213 road connecting Barrado and Piornal. Shortly after the start of the road a paved track leads to the viewpoint after a short distance.

Access is via the EX-213 road that connects Barrado with Piornal; a few meters from the start of this road from Barrado, a paved track branches off to the right. After continuing along this track and taking the first left at the junction, a short stretch of about 150 meters leads to the Los Lagares viewpoint and picnic area, where it is possible to park near the tables.
The picnic area is accessible throughout the year, provided that weather conditions and the condition of the access track are suitable. Spring and autumn are especially recommended times to enjoy the views and the natural surroundings, due to mild temperatures and the vibrant colors of the landscape.

The access track is paved but relatively narrow, so it should be driven at low speed and with attention to possible oncoming vehicles. On rainy, foggy, or icy days, the surface may become slippery and visibility reduced, so it is advisable to exercise extra caution both when driving and when approaching areas close to the edge of the viewpoint.
