Picnic area located near the Marta Waterfall in the municipality of Valdastillas. The site is set in a quiet natural environment surrounded by alder trees that provide shade and coolness for much of the year. The area allows visitors to see the remains of the old “Lagar del Tío Alicio”, an olive press where local families used to bring their olives for processing. This small spot combines nature and local history and offers a pleasant place to rest while visiting the waterfall or exploring the surrounding area.

Access is from Valdastillas via the road towards Cabrero, taking the signposted turnoff to the Marta gorge and Lagar de Marta. After parking near the remains of the old press, a short walk leads to the picnic tables located in the wooded area next to the gorge.
The picnic area can be used throughout the year, being especially pleasant in spring and summer due to the shade provided by the alders and the cool environment of the gorge. In autumn, the atmosphere becomes quieter and the surroundings take on ochre tones that are particularly photogenic.
