The Parish Church of Saint Catherine is the main religious building in the village of Rebollar. It was originally built in the 17th century and has undergone several later renovations. The church is a modest structure built mainly with masonry and reinforced with granite ashlar at the corners and buttresses. It consists of a single nave divided into two sections by semicircular arches and a distinct chancel area, covered by a wooden gabled roof. Inside the church there is a notable piece of religious silverwork: a Gothic-Renaissance pyx or chalice donated by Bishop Gutierre de Vargas y Carvajal, whose coat of arms appears on the base of the object. The church is part of the historic architectural ensemble of Rebollar.
