The Parish Church of Saint Michael is the main religious building in Cabrero and the most representative heritage landmark of this small village in the Jerte Valley. The current church was built in the 18th century on the remains of an earlier temple and follows the typical structure of rural churches in Extremadura, with a single rectangular nave and a polygonal apse. The building is constructed with masonry and stone, giving it a simple and robust appearance characteristic of mountain architecture. The main façade features a bell gable that houses the church bells. Inside, a Baroque altarpiece dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel presides over the main altar. The church serves as an important historical, cultural, and religious reference within the village of Cabrero.
