The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption is the main parish church of Navaconcejo, built between the 16th and 17th centuries with architectural elements that combine Gothic and Renaissance styles. The building features a rectangular nave divided into three sections by attached pillars and semicircular arches, ending in a square apse covered by a ribbed vault. Inside, the main highlight is the Baroque altarpiece created in the 1730s by the Incera Velasco brothers, centered on an image of the Virgin of the Assumption from the 18th century. The church also houses several religious sculptures from the 17th and 18th centuries. Its bell tower, composed of four sections and dated to 1634, is one of the most prominent features of the town’s skyline.
