The Water Interpretation Center is an educational facility focused on explaining the role of water within the ecosystems of the Jerte Valley. Through informative panels and interactive displays, visitors learn about the water cycle, riverside vegetation, aquatic fauna and emblematic species of the Garganta de los Infiernos Natural Reserve. The exhibition is organized into several thematic sections including reception areas, environmental interpretation spaces and educational workshops. The center is part of the network of interpretation facilities of the Natural Reserve and offers free visits, particularly aimed at school groups and organized visitors.

The centre is situated in the Virgen de Peñas Albas area, on the outskirts of Cabezuela del Valle, about 200 metres from the regional tourist office. It can be reached by car via the N-110 until you reach the signposted turn-off for the Tourist Office. The interpretation centre is located about 200 metres past the Tourist Office.
It is open all year round, although opening times may vary depending on the season. Please check opening times before visiting. It is particularly worth a visit as a complement to excursions to the Garganta de los Infiernos Nature Reserve or for school trips and group visits where visitors wish to gain a deeper understanding of the valley’s environmental values.
