The Jarramplas Interpretation Center is a museum space dedicated to explaining the history and meaning of the Jarramplas festival, one of the most iconic celebrations in Piornal and declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest. The center displays traditional costumes, masks, drums and other objects related to the celebration, along with informative panels and audiovisual materials. The center is located in the Cultural Center of Piornal, at Calle Hogar number 2, within the urban area of the municipality. It can be easily reached on foot, and visitors arriving by car can park in nearby streets or designated parking areas before entering the building via its paved access.
The Interpretation Center can be visited throughout the year, with opening hours often extended around the dates of the Jarramplas festival in January and during peak tourist periods. It is especially interesting to visit before or after experiencing the festival itself, in order to better understand its rituals, characters, and cultural significance.
