Spectacular waterfall located in the Jerte Valley where water falls more than 30 meters down a polished granite wall shaped by time and erosion. The surrounding natural environment is formed by oak, ash and alder trees, creating a beautiful and easily accessible landscape for visitors. The waterfall is located near the road connecting Valdastillas and Piornal. From a clearly signposted junction, a short asphalt track of about 600 meters leads close to the waterfall, followed by a short walk to reach its base. It can also be accessed by hiking the SL-CC 32 trail, a route of approximately 7 kilometres starting in Valdastillas.

From Valdastillas, take the CC-17.5 road towards Piornal and, after approximately 2.5 km, turn left at a sharp bend onto a detour that leads along a paved track to the vicinity of the waterfall. There, park next to a bridge over the gorge and walk the final meters along a short path and steps to reach the viewpoint and the base of the waterfall. Alternatively, it can be accessed on foot from Valdastillas via the signposted SL-CC 32 trail, approximately 7 km long.
The waterfall is at its best in winter and spring, when the water flow is high and the granite wall is fully covered by cascading water, making it especially attractive if combined with the cherry blossom season. In summer, the flow may decrease and visitor numbers increase, while in autumn the surrounding forest displays a highly photogenic range of colors.

It is recommended to visit the waterfall during less crowded times, such as early in the morning or on weekdays, to better enjoy the surroundings. Visitors should wear footwear with good grip, respect marked areas, avoid getting too close to the edge of the viewpoint or wet rocks, and, if arriving by car, park only in designated areas without blocking access.
On Sundays, holidays, and during peak season, the parking area near the bridge may become full, requiring visitors to park further away and walk along the road, so extra caution is needed. The rocks and steps near the waterfall are very slippery when wet, and it is not advisable to leave the designated paths, especially when visiting with children.
