Traditional houses located in the historic centre of Rebollar, known as Casas del Canchal because they were built directly on large granite rock formations. These dwellings integrate with the natural terrain, giving the impression that the buildings are suspended or resting on massive stone blocks. The surrounding urban layout features narrow and steep streets typical of mountain villages. This architecture reflects the traditional way of adapting settlements to the rocky landscape of the Jerte Valley and represents one of the most distinctive heritage features of Rebollar.

They are located in the historic center of Rebollar, in one of the most enclosed areas of the village. Access is only possible on foot through very narrow and steep alleyways. Walking through the upper part of the village allows visitors to locate these unique spots where the Casas del Canchal are built over large granite outcrops.
They can be visited throughout the year as part of a walk around Rebollar, being especially pleasant in spring and autumn when temperatures are milder and the surrounding landscape of cherry groves and rocky formations is at its best.

The alleyways are very narrow and uneven, so caution is required when walking, especially on rainy days when the stone surface may be slippery. It is not possible to access the immediate area by car due to the layout of the historic center.
