Calle Real is the main and most representative street in the historic center of Tornavacas, running through the village from north to south. It is divided into three sections: Real de Arriba, Real de Enmedio, and Real de Abajo, which together form the historic and urban backbone of the municipality. Along its route there are numerous traditional stone houses with timber framing and balconies, reflecting the mountain architecture of the Jerte Valley. Historically, it has been an important thoroughfare for trade and transhumance. Several notable heritage elements of the village are also located along this street.
