Cañada Rural Street is a small rural road located on the outskirts of Navaconcejo, in the area known as Vega de la Higuera. The surroundings are part of the agricultural landscape of the Jerte Valley, with cherry orchards and countryside accommodation facilities. One of the main establishments in the area is the rural lodging La Cañada del Valle del Jerte, built in traditional stone and wood architecture. The location is also close to the historic route of the Cañada Real Leonesa, an ancient livestock trail historically used for seasonal transhumance.

From Navaconcejo, take the N-110 road and, in the surroundings of the municipality, access the Vega de la Higuera area by following the signs towards the rural accommodations located near the Cañada Real. The area is approximately 1.5 km from the town center and about 150–200 meters from the Jerte River, with vehicle access close to the rural houses and the Cañada Rural road itself.
Spring and early summer are especially suitable times to enjoy the surroundings of the Cañada Rural, coinciding with the cherry blossom and pleasant weather for walking through the farmland and riverbanks. Autumn also offers an attractive landscape due to the change in vegetation colors, while winter may bring cold and rainy days.

Comfortable footwear is advisable for walking on dirt and gravel paths, and visitors can take advantage of the proximity to the river to enjoy short walks along the riverbank without leaving marked or accessible paths.
Rural paths may become muddy and develop puddles after rainfall, so caution is required both when walking and driving, especially on narrow sections. As this is an area with private farmland, visitors should not enter fenced plots or collect fruit without the owners’ permission.
